01 The story, in three paragraphs

Why everyone keeps coming back.

Brasserie Au Moka is a quintessential Parisian brasserie nestled at 92 Bd de Grenelle, in the vibrant 15th arrondissement of Paris. This charming locale offers an authentic French bistro experience where traditional flavors and convivial atmosphere come together seamlessly.

Step inside or settle at one of the outdoor tables to immerse yourself in the lively Paris street scene. The ambience here perfectly captures the spirit of local life—whether it's the early morning buzz of patrons enjoying a freshly brewed coffee or the warm glow of evening dinners accompanied by engaging conversation. Guests have often praised the outdoor seating as an ideal spot for people-watching, allowing you to take in the rhythms of the city while savoring a moment of respite during your Parisian stroll.

The culinary offering is a celebration of classic French brasserie fare executed with integrity and passion. Diners rave about the comforting bœuf bourguignon, richly flavored and tender, making it one of the must-try dishes at an excellent value of €18. The robust flavors linger pleasantly, perfectly paired with a bottle of carefully selected red wine to complete the experience.

For those seeking simpler pleasures, the coffee at Brasserie Au Moka garners exceptional marks—bold, aromatic, and expertly prepared, it is the fuel for many a morning here. Although peak times might require a bit more patience, as one guest noted waiting over 20 minutes for a coffee during the busy morning crowd, the quality and the laid-back vibe more than justify the short wait.

The staff play an essential role in creating a welcoming environment. Multiple visitors highlight the friendly, attentive service—especially remarkable was the experience of being served by the owner himself, a gesture that adds a personal and memorable touch. Waiters here are not only efficient but also considerate, readily assisting guests with seating arrangements to accommodate groups or personal comfort. This blend of professionalism paired with genuine warmth sets the tone for a truly inviting dining experience.

Whether you’re craving hearty, traditional French dishes or simply want to soak up the authentic Parisian brasserie vibe with a perfectly crafted coffee, Brasserie Au Moka invites you to relish every bite and moment. It is a local gem where the food, atmosphere, and hospitality come together to make every visit special.

Came here for a quick morning coffee and had to wait a little extra time to do so. I sat outside like most French Bistros but for this place, I actually waited for over 20 mins to get served. Everything else was good though. Coffee was great. Ambience outside was good and awesome for people-watching as you take a break from your Paris walk. Recommended for the coffee and not necessarily for the good service. Then again, you're in Paris, that's kind of expected by now. Enjoy.

The service was absolutely outstanding – friendly, fast, and attentive. The food was incredibly delicious, and it was clear how much effort was put into every detail. The staff were warm and welcoming, and everything was done with such efficiency and care. To make it even more special, we were served by the boss himself, which made the experience unforgettable. Highly recommended!

Best food we had in Paris. Had 2 bœuf bourguignon plates for €18 each with a bottle of red wine. Staff were laid back but always around. Busy but not too busy, plenty of people engaged in good conversation but we were able to find a table at the height of business. Very lovely local spot full of local people - we were very happy to be a guest in this local Parisien bistro.

Great place. Great food. Friendly waiter. The place has a nice atmosphere with great people. When we wanted to move to a different table to make room for a bigger group of people the waiter was really supportive and helped us move our stuff. The food was very nice as well. We had two burgers. My patty was medium just as I told them and my girlfriend's patty was well done just as she told them. Not a lot of places get that right or even ask in the first place. Additionally the fries were great and the bread was soft and fresh. Just keep in mind that a bar is part of the establishment and if you go there to certain hours people are gonna be there to drink and it'll be a bit louder.

Excellent food and friendly staff with a sports pub environment. We came in for dinner and were welcomed warmly and served with lots of care and consideration. Jean (our server) was so friendly, helpful and so attentive! I really enjoyed the coquillete and the beef confit was quite hearty. Would recommend!

Only had drinks here, but it was great. We would stop to watch the end of the Tour de France during our Paris trip. The beer was nice and well priced. The staff were lovely too.
